Hair plays an important role in symbolising the beauty. For some people hair is their pride and almost all women like to have a long thick shiny and strong hair. 

The major problem of this generation is hair fall and hair thinning, causes are stress, heredity, hormonal imbalance, aging, sedentary lifestyle, medications, nutritional deficiency, birth control pills, poor care of hair, excessive hair style, tight pulling or tying of hair, free hair for long time and excessive heating of hair.

When to Consider it's Hair Fall or Hair Thinning ?

The normal loss of hair is 10 to 100 strands daily. If you notice more hair fall or hair thinning than usual for 1 to 3 months it is abnormal.

Excessive hair loss can be a troublesome problem, often causing worry and affecting self-esteem, especially for women. However, if diagnosed right, you can control hair fall and hair thinning with certain natural remedies that are effective.

1. Coconut Oil and Neem Oil

Coconut oil and neem oil can be mixed or applied separately over the scalp which prevents hair loss. Try to apply warm or heated oil.

2. Curry Leaves

Curry leaves or kadi patta are rich in vitamin A, B, C and B2, iron and calcium. These leaves stimulates hair follicles, promotes hair growth with normal hair pigment and ease dandruff. Use curry leaves in food as a flavouring agent or you can mix curry leaves heated or warm oil and curry leaves can be left inside the oil.

3. Mehandi Leaves

Mehandi leaves promotes hair growth, reduce hair fall, ease dandruff, act as natural hair dye, decrease the split hair ends, balance pH and stimulates oil production. A paste of mehndi leaves can be applied to scalp and wash after 30 to 40 minutes.

4. Onion Juice

Onion juice has sulphur that is said to prevent thinning and breakage of hair. Lesser hair thinning and breakage will ensure thick hair growth. Onion juice mildly nourishes hair follicles with the help of sulphur. Nourished hair follicles will allow regeneration of healthy hair.
The presence of antioxidants in onion juice may help reversing premature greying of hair.

5. Hibiscus Flower

Hibiscus is rich in vitamin C which stimulates hair regrowth. It can be used as Hibiscus hair oil or Hibiscus paste which can be mixed with mehndi leaves paste. Apply for scalp hair and wash after 30 to 40 minutes.

6. Amla

It contains oodles of essential fatty acids, which strengthen hair follicles, giving your hair strength and lustre. More importantly, amla is rich in vitamin C. In fact, the surplus of vitamin C in amla helps in stopping premature greying.

7. Beetroot

Beetroot are are rich in protein, vitamin A and calcium. Eating beetroot or drinking it's juice or applying beetroot paste which can be mixed with mehandi leaves paste, apply for scalp hair and wash after 30 to 40 minutes, promotes hair growth, reduce hair fall and act as natural hair dye.

8. Fenugreek

Fenugreek are rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins. They promote hair growth, reduce hair fall, split hair are reduced, oil secretion in hair follicles, ease dandruff and reduce itching of scalp by eating Methi or by applying a paste of Methi to scalp hair.

9. Fish Oil

Fish oil are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for hair growth, reduce hair loss, increase the hair thickness and opening up the hair follicles. It can be consumed in diet which are present in fish or fish oil pills can be consumed on the advice of doctor.

10. Green Tea

Green tea is not only beneficial when trying to shed kilos, but is also a herbal remedy for hair loss. Green tea contains polyphenolic compounds, which is considered quite beneficial to prevent hair fall.

11. Egg White

Egg white are rich in protein which promote hair growth, reduce fat loss, shiny and smooth hair, strengthen the hair root and repair the damaged hair. This can be applied by mixing in oil. Apply over scalp and wash the hair after 30 minutes. 

12. Coconut Milk

Coconut milk are rich in protein which reduces hair loss and promotes hair growth. It can be mixed with mehndi, applied over the scalp and wash after 30 minutes.

13. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera as a enzyme called proteolytic enzyme which repairs damaged cells on scalp, reduce dry hair,  promotes hair growth , reduce hair fall , ease dandruff, act as a conditioner, makes hair smooth  and shiny, it keeps the hair follicle moist and stimulates the oil secretion. 

14. Castor Oil

It contains ricinoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acid. When applied to scalp and massaged it stimulates blood circulation to scalp, improve hair growth, also useful for alopecia, it keeps the scalp moist and ease the dandruff.
